International Law Workshops at University of Michigan Law School

Monday workshops discuss

Oct 24, 2006

On most Monday afternoons during the Fall 2006 term at the University of Michigan Law School in Ann Arbor, Michigan, a number of academics and legal experts gather for International Law Workshops to discuss topics related to international and comparative law. Michigan Law faculty, as well as a number of guest speakers - including professors from Katholieke University (Belgium), Fordham, Vanderbilt, and NYU - give presentations, which are followed by discussions.

Among the notable upcoming talks include Robin Walker-Lee's "Five Things Foreign Lawyers Really Want to Know about the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (and You Should Too)" (October 30), Lawrence R. Helfer's "The Law and Politics of Treaty Withdrawals" (November 6), and Jerome A. Cohen's "Does China Have a Legal System?"
