Two-day conference focuses on future impact of technology on IP law

The University of Texas (UT) Law School will host a two-day conference - "Frontiers of IP" - about intellectual property law on its Austin, Texas campus on November 10-11, 2006. Law school academics, scholars, executives and practicing lawyers will be delivering papers and discussing topics related to the future of IP law.

According to the UT Law website, the conference will include sessions about "the challenges copyright law faces as it confronts new technologies; administrative and substantive reforms of the patent system; and studies of patents in the software and biotech industries."
