Evening lectures from law experts from throughout the UK touch on a variety of topics

For those of you living and studying in London, there is also the opportunity to attend a number of free lectures at UCL law department. The lectures are either hosted by the British branch of the International Law Association, or are part of the "Current Legal Problems" lecture series. All lectures listed below are at the Main Lecture Theatre of the Laws department, and are free of charge and do not require advance booking.

November 23 - Dr. Sean Coyle (UCL) "The Human Face of the Rule of Law," 6pm

November 30 - Professor Christopher McCrudden (Oxford), "Buying Social Justice," 6pm

December 6  - Professor Christine Chinkin (LSE), "Gender and International Peace and Security," 6pm

December 7  - Rodney Austin (UCL), "Terror, Torture and the New Constitutionalism," 6pm

December 14 - Dr. Oren Ben-Dor (Southampton), "The Legal as a Current Problem," 6pm
