LLM GUIDE - Master of Laws (LL.M.) Programs Worldwide

New Law and Finance LL.M. at Riga Graduate School of Law (RGSL)

First program will run during the 2007-2008 academic year

Dec 22, 2006

The Riga Graduate School of Law (RGSL) in Riga (Latvia) has announced the creation of a new LL.M. program in Law and Finance that will begin in the 2007-2008 academic year.

The RGSL website describes the program: "In the global marketplace - whether employment in a firm, bank, or law office - knowledge of finance and law are needed to fulfil the demanding requirements of the marketplace and to maximize career opportunities. A traditional gap has existed between lawyers, economists, accountants, and financial officers. The LL.M in Law and Finance closes that gap. Graduates may undertake careers in global markets, financial institutions, and government positions in the financial regulatory area."

The program will be one year in duration and taught in English.
