Licensing Executives Society to Fund MIPLC LL.M. Scholarship

Scholarship to cover half tuition for one IP LL.M. student

Dec 29, 2006

The German wing of the Licensing Executives Society has announced that it will fund a half tuition scholarship for one student in the Intellectual Property LL.M. program at the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (MIPLC) in Munich, Germany.

Professor Joseph Straus, who heads the MIPLC program, said that his center was "most grateful for this support which will help an accomplished student to join our program who otherwise would not have been able to do so.”

The MIPLC was created in 2003 as a cooperation between the Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property, Competition and Tax Law; the University of Augsburg; the Technische Universität München; and the George Washington University Law School.
