Maastricht University Announces Master's Program Scholarships

Non-EU incoming LL.M. students eligible for one of twenty scholarships

The Universiteit Maastricht Scholarship Fund will make 20 scholarships available for incoming Master's students - including qualified LL.M. students - from outside the European Union (EU) for the 2007-2007 academic year. These High Potential Scholarships cover tuition, accomodation, insurance, and travel costs, as well as living expenses.

According to the UM website, qualified applicants must come from a country from outside the EU, be admitted to a UM degree program, be eligible for a residence permit, and be no older than 35. Preference is given to applicants from India, China and Turkey.

Application deadline is April 1, 2007.

Maastricht University in the Netherlands offers several LL.M. programs in Dutch and English, as well as a brand new Master's program in Foresnics, Criminology and Administration of Justice.

    It is very good of UM to offer these important scholarships, I would also like to find out if there any available for the 2009 academic year? I am very interested in some of your LLM programs but need a scholarship to attend.
