NYU International Law Society to Host Global Issues Symposium
Open event will be held at NYU Law School on March 29Mar 23, 2007
The Spring 2007 Global Issues Symposium of the International Law Society of New York University (NYU) will take place at NYU School of Law on Thursday, March 29, 2007.
The symposium is called "The United Nations and the Three Challenges of the 21st Century." Three panel discussions will cover "Peace and Security," "The Promotion of Human Rights," and "The Reduction of Poverty." The keynote speaker is UN Under-Secretary-General Dr. Shashi Tharoor.
It is a full-day event, free of charge and open to the public. No pre-registration is required.
