UCL Announces Chinese IP Law Certificiate Course in September 2007
Two-week course to cover new Chinese IP lawsMay 17, 2007
University College London (UCL) has announced that it will offer a two-week certificate course in Chinese Intellectual Property Law running during September 17-28, 2007.
The course will provide an overview of the the new range of IP laws recently introduced in China. According to UCL, this new set of laws "not only affects new technologies and products introduced by Chinese industry, but it also affects the opportunities and risks borne by foreign corporations which wish to introduce products and technology into and conduct business in China."
The course, devised and supervised by Professors Sir Hugh Laddie (UCL) and David Llewelyn (King's College London), is therefore of particular interest to in-house lawyers from companies that conduct business in China, or European IP professionals who advise such companies.
