St. John's Announces New U.S. Legal Studies LL.M. for Foreign Lawyers
New course begins in NYC in Fall 2008; allows eligibility for NY Bar examOct 11, 2007
St. John’s University School of Law in Queens, New York will establish an LL.M. Program in U.S. Legal Studies for Foreign Law School Graduates. The program is designed for foreign-trained attorneys and jurists, and will begin in Fall 2008.
According to the law school, the program allows students to be eligible for applying to the New York Bar Examination, thus providing them with the option of practicing law in the United States or their home countries.
This will add to St. John's exisitng LL.M. program in Bankruptcy Law.
