UCLA Hosts Annual Public Interest Career Day on February 2
Eleven southern California law schools participating in 23rd annual eventJan 31, 2008
The 23nd Annual Southern California Public Interest Career Day will take place at the UCLA School of Law on February 2, 2008.
The event is co-sponsored by nine other Southern California law schools, including University of Southern California (USC), University of San Diego (USD), Loyola, California Western, Chapman, Pepperdine, Southwestern, Thomas Jefferson, and Whittier. The event aims to "expose law students to the practice of law in the public interest and to encourage students to consider a public interest career path."
The event draws from law students from Southern California and over 120 law firms, non-profits, and government agencies. Some participating organizations will carrying out pre-scheduled interviews with law students for jobs and internships on February 1, as well.
