Washington & Utrecht Universities Launch Transnational Law J.D.-LL.M.
Four-year degree will have students studying in St. Louis and 3 in UtrechtFeb 28, 2008
Washington University in St. Louis and Utrecht University in the Netherlands are launching a four-year Transnational Law Program that will allow students to study for five semesters at WULS and three semesters in Utrecht.
Upon completion, US graduates will earn a J.D. from Washington University and an LL.M. from the Utrecht School of Law. European participants will get their first degree in Utrecht and their LL.M. from Washington.
The course is designed to fill the growing demand for lawyers with an understanding of both European and US law. The program will also draw on faculty from three European universities: Queens University Belfast, University of Trento in Italy, and Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Lisbon.
