Queen Mary To Introduce Environmental Law LL.M. in September

The University of London Queen Mary (QMUL) is introducing a new LL.M. program in Environmental Law beginning in September 2008. According to the university, the program " examine all the political and legal issues concerning envrionmental protection, climate change policies, natural resources law, with an overarching emphasis on the impact of gas and oil."
The program be interdisciplinary, encompassing legal, political and human rights issues of environmental protection, whilst drawing on expertise from colleagues in other Queen Mary departments, including geography and physics human rights and physics.
The following courses will be offered:
- Natural Resources Law
- Climate Change Law and Policy
- EU Environmental Law
- UK Environmental Law
- International Environmental Law
The school will also be hosting an School of Law Postgraduate Open Day in London on April 23, 2008.
