Georgetown Law To Offer 12-14 Clinical Graduate Fellowships

Georgetown Law in Washington DC has announced the application deadlines for its Georgetown Clinical Graduate Teaching Fellowships. The fellowships - which cover tuition, health and dental benefits, and an annual stipend of over 50,000 dollars - are given to qualified students enrolled in an LL.M. program, during which they are "in residence" at a specific clinic, such as the Center for Applied Legal Studies or the Institute for Public Representation.
According to the university, "During at least one of their years in residence, fellows directly supervise J.D. students enrolled in the clinics, assist in teaching clinical seminars, and perform work on their own cases or other legal matters in representing their clinic's clients. Fellowships usually begin in the late summer with an intensive orientation designed to introduce fellows to clinical teaching methods."
The earliest application deadline for 2009-2011 fellowships is October 15 (for Women's Law and Public Policy).
