Submissions for Third Cervelló Essay Prize at IE Due on May 22
Winning essay gets EUR 10,000, with 2 2nd-place awards worth EUR 3,000Mar 4, 2009
IE Law School in Madrid, Spain is holding its third annual José María Cervelló prize, sponsored by the law firm Ramón Hermosilla & Gutierrez de la Roza. The winning essayist will win 10,000 Euros, while two second-place winners will receive 3,000 Euros each.All submissions must be in Spanish, between 50 and 80 pages, previously unpublished, and address the theme of "Los administradores de hecho y el concurso de acreedores."
The remaining 20,000 Euros of the 36,000-Euro prize is granted to the Jose Maria Cervello Chair at IE Law School, to be used for scholarships.
Anyone licensed to practice law is invited to submit an essay.
The last day to submit essays is May 22, 2009. The award ceremeony will take place in June 2009 aw School. Winning submissions must be unpublished, and have to be between 50 and 80 pages in length. For more information, please visit the IE website.
