  13. Mamadi Yabre, Fri Mar 19, 2010 07:39 PM

I'm Mamadi Yabre from Burkina Faso. I graduated at the University of Ouagadougou in June 2003. I passed the Post Graduate Certificate of Education in July 2005 and I've been a registered English teacher since then. Paralleling my teaching profession, I'm the president of an Association which aim is to reduce adult illetracy in the my country. As a matter of fact Burkina Faso certainly has one of the lowest literacy in the world( 30%).The Association used to conduct its activities in a small city but I've recently been empowered to extend the activities of the Association to more cities. My first objective as the president of the Association is to open sections of the Association in all the 45 provinces of the country. In fact the Association encompasses many development projects. I've already applied at the Institute of Education of London University to study Adult Literacy Language and Numeracy. But I do believe Queen Mary is providing an excellent oportunity to study Law and Development which I think I will need to lead my Association successfully.

  22. raheleh, Sun Apr 04, 2010 07:17 PM

I, Raheleh Sadat Hosseiney, born in Tehran on 29/8/1973, was awarded a B.Sc. in Applied Physics by the Islamic Azad University, Central Tehran branch, in 1996, and have taught physics in senior high schools in Tehran for years. Afterward, in 1999, I was employed by the Social Security Organization, and received an L.L.M. degree in public law from the same university in 2004, having achieved the grand GPA 17.36 (out of 20). At present, besides working at Social Security Organization, I have been lecturing courses to the undergraduates as an instructor of trade law for 5 semesters, and I am keen on seeking an admission to that university to continue my LLM and doctoral studies in public international law(scholarship). I'd be grateful if you guide me in this respect. It is worth being mentioned that my thesis is titled "Legal Changes for Supporting Women in Iran".

I'm looking forward to receiving your reply. All documentation can be sent if required. I should like to thank you in advance.

    Yours truly,

    Raheleh Sadat Hosseiney
