Tulane to Launch Law & Development LL.M. Program in August
New program offered jointly with Payson Center for International DevelopmentFeb 28, 2013
Tulane University Law School in New Orleans will begin a new LL.M. program in Law and Development starting in August. The new, 24-credit program will be the first such program available in the United States, and will be offered in partnership with Tulane's Payson Center for International Development.
The program can be taken full-time over one year, or part-time over two years. According to the law school, students on the Law and Development LL.M. program "will benefit from a unique combination of an integrated, multidisciplinary training, with practical applications for brighter career opportunities."
The program curriculum will include such courses as Law, Sustainability and Development, International Human Rights, Economic Analysis, Comparative Environmental Law, and Comparative Constitutional and Private Law.
