<description>My take is that you should pay off the applicaton fee.  If they&#39;ve approached u, it may probably be because they&#39;ve been impressed by your qualifications and therefore they&#39;ve assessed you as worthy of admissions review.  Further, don&#39;t go by what some people say about how tardy columbia admissions process can be,  for i&#39;ve been told that there&#39;s no strict rule as to when Columbia sends out acceptance letters.  A few might be fortunate enough to get it early due, for example, to geographic distributions and extraordinary credentials; but others may receive notice of acceptance way far ahead after March.  70 dollars is a minor downside compared to the upside you&#39;ll derive out of studying at one of the most pretigious institutions envolved in law teaching. </description>
