Everything in this world is uncertain. Human life is so short.

Your life won't be ruined if you were rejected.

What about working a lot in your offices and companies to be able to pay the expenses and tuition fees? It seems a good idea for me to get my mind off the admissions decisions and that is exactly what I’m doing. Thank you.

In order to avoid dwelling on the expectation of notice of admission, i suggest doing low-impact exercises such as striding, strolling, swimming, bicycling for about 2 hours daily. That gnaws at your anxiousness. Further, if you are not a singleminded orthodox you should also entertain the idea of involving in yoga classes. Abs breathing works well to eradicate constant expectation as well as visualization.

Geruvah, i think there are plenty. He may contemplate staying in a monastery or religious order for a month. For example, you may approach Jesuits in your country in an attempt to ask of them if they're sponsoring spiritual retreat programs. In such programs people share in a technology-free environment as they were created for the purpose of engaging people's continued attention on spiritual ends, thereby eliminating all possible sources of distraction.

To get your mind off admissions decisions, all you have to do is start thinking about how you are going to fund your education once you get in!

That's another source of gloomy obsession. You are driving him from one anxiety-ridden problem to another no less fretting.
I strongly recommend he shakes off his mind any reference or external reminder of the admission process and the LL.M program pitfalls. He should steer clear from it and diffuse his attention energy into other tasks which are agreeable for mind and spirit.
