Most of the professors have outstanding cv and have very important role in Japan; i.e. Hisako Levin Kobayashi sensei-she teaches IDR, she has been known as one of the leading mediator in japan. we all love her. I'm quite interested in Japan (I have lived there before and my wife is Japanese) and wanted the opportunity to study Japanese law from a comparative perspective. I am admitted to a research study in Kyushu University, Nagoya University and Yokohama National University as well. I only applied these law schools since they have English programs for international students. I am planing to start an LL.D program upon completion of my research. I am thinking about the job opportunities such as summer internships in a Japanese or an international law firm in Tokyo. And also housing and the living cost... I will greatly appreciate if you have any suggestions. Thank you!
