Hey guys. How are you doing? let me tell you that I found out about this discussion board 3 days ago and it's been really helpful so far.
Well, for many reasons I have to move to Chicago in september 2006. I thought that it would be a great time to apply for an LLM. But in Chicago there are many School of laws that it is difficult to decide.
Could you tell me all you know about School of law located in the city of Chicago or outskirts (like Chicago Univ, Northwestern, DePaul, Illinios Univ., Loyola...)? you know best programs, concentrations of each program, rumorology about the programs...everything helps.
Thanks.

Hi Frances,

The University of Chicago law school is one of the best in the US - always top 5. Has a reputation as an intellectually rigerous program, very demanding. Northwestern is also good, but doesn't have the same prestige as Chicago. Also look at Chicago-Kent, another lovely law school by all reports.

Hope this helps,
Jess

Does anyone know anything about Loyola Chicago's LLM in Child Law? It's a personal area of interest, and other than University of London-Kings College, it's the only program dedicated to the study of children and law.

What is the general rep. of Loyola Chicago school of law. I need help, please. Thanks.
