Hello All - I am looking at pursuing grad programs to study immigration and refugee law - particularly immigration issues in the EU.

I've searched this website and university pages and come up with these faculty members with interests in this area:

UCL (UK)- prof O’Keefe
Kent (UK)- prof Ryan
Cork (Ire)- prof Mullally
Leiden (Ndl)- Immigration Law Research Centre

Does anyone know any of these faculty members/programs? Can anyone comment on them?

Does anyone know any other faculty with interests in immigration & refugee law? or other programs I have missed and should consider?

I completed my LLB in Canada and am unfamiliar with the programs in UK/Ireland. I'm doing my best to navigate the web, but would greatly appreciate any personal experience anyone may have. Many thanks in advance for any replies!

I did my LLM at UCL and took the course "European Internal Market", which was taught by O'Keefe. He is a good and entertaining Irish lecturer and is very well renowned throughout Europe. I can fully recommend his courses.

Still interested in an LLM on migration law?
If yes, I am in the same boat. They do exist several research institutes, indicatively :

However, at least in continental Europe, I didn t discover an LLM that specialised. The common path is an LLM in EU LAW.
