Hi! Nice meeting u all here:) I'm from China.
I'm glad to be admitted by the program. My allocations are Rotterdam, bologna and Rotterdam. I'd like to know if anyone got the same or some of the three terms in one of those cities?

hey guys

Does anyone know whether we can change the third term?
I got Aix-en Provence, but I want to write thesis in Hamburg.
Do I change after having a meeting on second terms? Is it possible?

As far as I know you can apply if you did not get the allocations you have choosen on your sent application.

First I had some thoughts over change one term of mine, since I got 2 terms in same allocation, but then I read the doc they sent more carefully =)

in the end I am feeling lucky anyway that they accepted my preferred locations. (=

Nova, you can apply for reallocation until the 15th of June. I am at Aux as well so don't go ;)

Xu Ziwei, I am going to be with you in Bologna and looking forward to it ;)

Gici, where are you going to be?

If anyone is looking for a roommate then I might be interested. I have Hamburg, Bologna and Aux

itidag,

I started another thread, but there was no reply to it, so was wondering if you have any idea of the word limit for the Statement of Motivation? The FAQ is silent on this point.

Thanks!
SV

Guys,I have a problem.I can't figure out what is this:

Applicants with a bachelor degree only need to provide proof that this degree is an appropriate level of qualification in the labour market in their home country.

I am an applicant with a bachelor degree, but what is this proof? What will I ask,and where shall I aquire it?

Hi, I'm from Thailand, and apply for 2010-2011 program. What time would the program announce the admission decision? Would 3rd countries applicants be announced separated from European applicants? Anw, nice to c u guys!

Hi. I'm not sure, but I believe that 3rd country students will receive admission letters or emails in late february 2010.

Admission decisions should be announced mid February, I guess it means that 3CStudents will find out before EStudents, since their deadline will not expire by that time.

Indeed. I can't wait to find out wether I'll be admitted. I'm really looking forward :-)

this is my first choice, however I'm planning to apply to other universities just in case I'm not admitted :-( Does anyone know about a similar program to recommend??

I assume that we are all applying for 10/11, right??

yeps, I also look forward to see the result, but that is next 3 months! such a long time, isn't it? r u goin' to apply for US schools? then, there are plenty of them offering courses in law and economics. I'm not sure whether UK school put any emphasis on this issue or not. Btw, wish you good luck.
Take care,

Hey Guys
I've also applied for 2010/2011. Good luck to you all,
I'm planning on applying to several other unis in Europe as well since EMLE is very competitive!
London School of Economics I hear has a great course, v well renowned but also quite competitive with admission.
What other programs in Euro are ppl applying for?

Hy everyone,
I've applied for 2010/ 11MELE programme too, and I've also applied for QMUL, KING'S and CAM and planning to applied for LSE, OXFORD and UCL.
Do you have any tips about LSE?
Is it true that you only have a shot if your referee studied at the University you are applying for?
I'm from Brazil, where are you from?

Hi guys!

I just received an email from the university saying that I will not be admitted. :-( it says that the competition is fierce and they are looking for people that have studied law and economics. Also it says they gave weight to the motivational letter.

As for myself, I am an accountant and attorney with a CPA license. However, it was not good enough.

For those of you who have not received such an email: congratulation! That means that you are still in the race!!

Best of luck to all and at least I was notified early on thus, Im still on time to apply to other programs.

How come decisions are sent out this early? They are going to be announced in the second half of February, aren't they?

However, I am sorry for you two for the decision. There are always a better and suitable thing waiting for you, cheer up mate!
