Since putting up this post I got some great news from UBC... and UVIC has simply said that they will be coming to a decision "shortly". Try checking the university's deadline for the law faculty to recomend students to the faculty of graduate studies if it is published (ie for UBC it was March 1 for international students) which might give some indication as to when you might expect to hear from them. I feel your agony about the waiting game and it would be really really nice if programs would simply put that kind of info on their websites - ie the date when they generally expect to have decisions... doesn't need to be set in stone but at least if we knew what month! I suppose that is what makes this website so great! Sean
