Anybody got any news from TCD already?The application deadline is April 1st only, but I wonder if anyone received an application and/or admission confirmation already...

Dear Maude,
One of my friends got a conditional offer for the M.Litt degree about a fortnight ago. I am currently on the PhD register there (about to go away for a year), and my experience is that the admissions process is fairly lax and haphazard compared to other Unis. No REAL deadlines and decisions sent out in an ok timeframe. Good luck.

hi maude...i applyed to TCD about one month ago, and i just received an e-mail saying that they received my application and it is complete. What about you? Still waiting?

I have also applied. My application file was sent to the Admissions office something like 3 weeks ago. Still waiting for a decision...

Nothing happens fast at Trinity... or in Ireland, for that matter!

The Trinity LL.M. is very respected, and is really enjoyed by people doing it! It is probably strongest in areas such as EU and commercial law, although there is a fair offering in human rights subjects. It's not really a course to learn Irish law from, aside from a few speciality courses. The main attraction should be the outstanding faculty.
