Hi All,Tue Apr 26, 2005 04:33 PM I had applied for LLM in IT law in the Stockholm University. The results are out for the LLM in IT- Dont know about the others. You can mail the respective co-ordinators and find out I guess. All the best |

Re: LLM in Stockholm
I wrote an email to the SU and got the answer that the decisions for the Master Programme in European-Law are made and will send out tomorrow. There was a delay because the SU was overwhelmed with applications this year.Tue May 03, 2005 09:34 AM |

Re: LLM in Stockholm
Hi - I had a few questions about the LLM (sic) at the university of Stockholm. I am an American attorney but want to work in Europe - does anyone know if the degree helps you out in getting a job in the EU or is it too insignificant to rely on to get you something? Fri Jun 03, 2005 08:50 AM I have a background in IP law and an MBA so I am also trying to decide which degree helps you out the most in the job market -- the IP LLM? Law and economics? Arbitration? Where can I go to find out the answers to these questions? Thanks. |

Re: LLM in Stockholm
check the big firms in the countries you prefer. for the last years UK and US firms have been buying local firms to get started or widen their European business. Maybe you know somebody there, I don't know. Besides with an MBA you should also check the consulting firms. But I am for from being an expert, just some thoughts. But I do know that usually the bigger firms, at least in Germany and Mannheimer Swartling (I know they have one American and at least two solicitors) in Stockholm, Sweden, do employ the occasional foreign lawyer. Good luck

Hey Guys,Wed Jul 02, 2008 08:46 AM There is no thread of discussion created for LLM at Uppsala Uni (Sweden) - May I know whether anyone has been offered and/or accepeted to do the Master's course of International and Comparative Law at Uppsala Uni this Autumn 2008?? If yes, can advise on housing matters? |
