Likelihood of Admission to OxBridge et al.
I'm an American who will apply for various LL.M. and other graduate programs (in some area of public international law) to begin in fall, 2007. At this point, I'm looking into the schools listed below, but am curious as to my likelihood of admission. I'm at a top-70 law school in the US and will likely graduate in the top 15% of my class. However, I've undertaken a dual degree (MA) in Int'l Relations, where I will likely graduate at or very near the top of my class (>3.9). I completed a prestigous internship in int'l law last fall and have various other activities, including a journal, etc. (I'm not really clear as to the grade equivilencies in the UK or on the contitent, nor do I know how well my lower-ranked law school will carry.)Wed Mar 29, 2006 10:32 PM Thoughts?? -Cambridge -Oxford (BCL, not LLM) -LSE -Paris II -Univ. of Geneva (CUDIH) -Leiden |

Likelihood of Admission to OxBridge et al.
A friend of mine contacted the schools attached to UoL via email, setting out briefly his grades etc and asked about whether his academics were sufficient to satisfy the entry requirements and so whether it was worth applying. He received a response from the universities and found they were happy to answer these questions for him. In a month or two, when the admissions process is over and the grad admissions office is a little less busy, you should do this.
