They reply and told me that they have fowarded my application material to the Selection Comittee. They also told me to check with they by the end of next week if a decision is made. Last week I got an email from them saying I was "recommended" and the GPSO still gets the final decision. I'm wondering if this is just some kind of formality/rubber stamping thing or is there still a chance I won't get in? Do you think they send out, like 500 of these "you've been recommended" emails knowing that only, say, 50 applicants will actually get admitted? I see on this site many have been admitted already, so I'm just wondering how "rolling" the rolling procedure is... Has anyone heard of anyone being "recommended" but still being turned down by the GPSO?
