Wake Forest is wonderful too! The people in the administration just really seem to care. Can't wait to meet them in person. Fri Apr 07, 2006 03:20 PM One downside though: you can't pay fees or deposits by credit card. |

I was fully satisfied with Michigan, especially Dora-Maria from the Admissions Office, she was very friendly. Had no trouble with Yale, either.

Vanderbilt is outstanding. Cyntia Coleman has been very helpful and friendly throughout the selection process. I cannot say I have encountered unfriendly admissions office member at other Law Schools. However, Vanderbilt knows how to add a personal touch to its selection process. It was very much appreciated:)

I vote for Georgetown. Ms.Caryn Voland was attentive and caring during the whole admission process. Ms. Sondenhoff from Michigan was quite friendly as well.

I vote for Vanderbilt as well. Ms. Coleman is so kind that willing to solve all kinds of my weird questions. Everytime I wrote her an email, she would reply me as soon as possible. From the time she sent me the reply I knew, sometimes she even use her leisure time to reply. I guess she won't see this post, but I still want to say thank you to her. I really appreciate her help during the whole process.

My vote goes to Michigan (Dora Maria factor) and the extra special attention that they have been bestowing. Closely followed by NYU.

Have to agree with Michigan; she follows up even people who have not yet replied immediately to the admission letter! But I was incredibly turned off by NYU's extremely short deadlines for deposits, coming from a country with primitive financial systems.

Since every body is voting - I'll also vote - but I will vote for Boston University. I did not apply to Georgetown so I don't know them, but BU was so personal - they even give a telephone interview to the applicants!!, which gives the applicant a chance to ask so many questions!!!

Well, it's not a US school, but Leiden University (Netherlands) was very good too. Ms. Heleen Oostebrink at the International Office was very helpful and prompt at returning emails. Dr Wildenburg at the Faculty of Law was very sweet and gave me the good news over the phone!Mon Jan 08, 2007 10:55 AM All and all, the admission process at Leiden was pretty painless. Although they don't use electronic applications and you can't check your status online, they do email a letter of receipt and the decision and are very willing to check your status over the phone. I vote for Georgetown.Tue Jan 09, 2007 01:01 PM The only school who warned me they didn't receive my toefl score report before the deadline, who always answered quickly to queries. Plus they really try to be nice (greetings christmas card, handwritten note on the admission letter). The other schools admission committees were efficient too...except NYU, who never answered to any mails. [Edited 09 Jan 2007 by ifgivenachance] |

Georgetown has a great way of handling things (plus they admitted me, which doesn't hurt at all!).Tue Jan 09, 2007 02:50 PM However, I'd like to praise Harvard admissions office: I had a problem with my application fee and they helped me promptly and kindly. |
