I got offers from both Duke and Cornell.
After considering all things, I thought that Cornell might have an edge over Duke in terms of international reputation, also being Ivy League, and considering the fact that it's closer to NYC.
I was about to send my $200 cheque to Cornell when I just got an e-mail from Duke, offering me a $10,000 scholarship. Of course I was very surprised... Is this normal?
Anyway, it makes me think again about what I should do... Money is important, although it isn't such a huge problem in my case..... I don't really know what I should focus on now to take my decision.

Any advice from other people in a similar situation?

Thanks in advance!

Hi there! Congratulations! I think you won't go wrong in any of these schools. Cornell seems to be more famous in Europe but I heard that LL.M. graduates from Duke have more chances to get job offers in the USA though the chances are still small. So I think it depends on what your career plan is. Both campuses are extremely beautiful.

Please note that Duke is also called "Magnolia League" (Southern Ivy League).
