Hi, Looks like I am going to UCLA - so thought I'd find out about my classmates. Do mail in with intros - and then hopefully we can discuss housing etc.

Btw, I spoke to the Director LLM there - They are planning a class of 45 students this year.

Hi!

Looks like I'm going to La-La Land too (although I haven't filled the statement of intent to register).

I'm a 25 french qualified lawyer with no work experience, specialized in IP/IT and I intent to choose the Entertainment Law concentration at UCLA.

For the housing, I think a shared housing off-campus in Westwood would be nice but I'm also considering a studio in Weyburn Terrace.

Hi,
I've also been accepted by UCLA but I'm not sure whether to go there or to Boston University. I plan to do Intellectual Property concentration (anyway, I have to decide where to go before 9 June), but have no experience in the area.

Did anybody get a scholarship from UCLA? I got $10,000 and I wonder if it was awarded on a regular basis or not.

Do you think it's better to go to UCLA or BU in terms of later chances for finding employment? Anybody could give me any advice?

Joanna

I think one of last year's poster, Filane, decided to attend UCLA for her LL.M. Maybe one of you who will be attending UCLA this year can send her a PM for housing information.

Hi,
I confirmed UCLA's LLM offer too. About the housing...try 'craigslist'! You can find a lot on craigslist website; I'm already mailing with some landlords. Good luck!
cheers,
Betul
