I have also checked Scandinavian schools and schools in Belgium. Are there any/many in Germany, for instance? I am looking for affordable schools that aren't overly picky in their admissions criteria. Thank you!!! Kathleen

The tuitions are 10000 euros but there are scholarships. Also look at the University of Malta. Also Latvia offers a LLM taught in english. But for what subject are you interested on?

Are the scholarships given in most countries given to students from the home countries from what you have heard? Are there any given to Americans? I looked at Malta, but I don't understand the money situation there; I cannot understand if the tuition is for each class (which seems pretty high) or if it is for the whole program. I am interested in Latvia, but it doesn't seem to be too centrally located (same w/ Malta) although I am not discounting either. Have you heard of any good scholarships. I am interested in International Law or Mediation and Arbitration but am still not certain if I am DEFINITELY going to do either of those. Thank you again!!! Katie

I would like some opinions about how hard it is and how people who were a part of the program took care of their expenses while abroad. THANKS!!! Katie

The Spanish Instituto de Empresa offers an executive LLM, and I believe all the classes are in English.

I have been told that some of the seminars are taught within the international legal firms to help students meet with attorneys. My brother wants to join their new double LLM programme next year in Business and environmental law with the university of Dundee. You can still apply online for 2007-2008

The LLM in french and european is very interesting and complete with lots of contacts within international law firms. It is not too expensive compared to other LLMs but I don't think it will last for ever because the law school gains in reputation. I was graduated from this law school and entered NYU. jasq Joined: 03 Jun 2007 Posts: 10	English-Taught Schools Thu Nov 01, 2007 03:50 PM Jagiellonian University offers an American LLM granted by the Catholic University of America (Columbus School of Law) - the courses are conducted in Krakow (Poland) and two months have to be spent in Washington. All the professors come from the States. www.llm.law.edu There are also German (IP - Dresden) and French (Orleans) LLM programmes and Polish-German "European Doctoral College" (Krakow-Heidelberg-Mainz).
