Hi guys!!!

Can anyone help me to choose which university is the best in international law and international relations in the UK??

I am planning to apply for a llm in something related to international public law and so on.

Also, iŽd like to choose a university that could help me to get into the UN (working of course).

I am for Argentina (South America) and i am not quite sure if Kent University is the one that suits with all my requirements.

Does anyone know something, please???!!!

Tks.

Broadly speaking - and I am by no means an expert here - I would say that LSE would be your best bet. In terms of the social sciences (which includes Politics and International Relations) they are the benchmark in the UK.

However, these days, employers look more towards the class of degree attained than the institution that awards it.

Also, with the UN, you will usually be expected to have some previous legal work experience in your home country.

I hope this helps! Good luck with your search!

Hello,

I would warmly recommend Lancaster University for their LLM in International Law and International Relations. I did the course 2 years ago and the balance between the two areas was very good. It was a very interesting course, with excellent visiting speakers. Quite a few people that were doing the course at the time were already working for the UN or NGO's so it's a good place to network.

I hope this helps,

Regards,
