yes. I have applied for university accomodation. In fact, I mailed them a few days back to find out the time-frame within which they will be declaring the accomodation status.

hey you guys have any clue if there are any more of us coming to ucl this year. lets just get to know a little more about each other. i'l start first.Sun Jun 11, 2006 09:56 AM i've been working with a law firm for last 3 years n last year i decided to apply. there wasn't much to decide amongst the colleges.... so i just kept the traditional approach of applying to the better half of UOL. i got thru both king's and ucl. regards ! |

Coould you pls tell me how much do they normally take to consider an application? I also worried abt the finances.... + got conditional offers from Bristol, Essex, Nottingham, Liverpool, Lancaster, Manchester... bt still to decide on one. Could you pls give some suggestions on selection criteria for accepting the offers of these univeristies? Thank you |

hi piyush !!Wed Jun 14, 2006 12:27 PM congratulations for your conditional offers. ucl people usually look for first class marks in your law degree. however, if your references are good, they may even consider an upper second devision. this is still not a strict criteria. the university from where you have graduated is also a big factor. all the best with your ucl application warm regards !! |

Hi,Tue Jun 20, 2006 10:24 PM Ive got through UCL this year and all though ive sent the consent letter, i am not very sure of joining. Honestly, i dont have the kind of funds that one needs to study at UCL. Can anyone of u give a rough idea about the amount of money that one ends up spending there while doing LLM. What should one write in a letter seeking deferrment of admission? Plz reply asap. |

hi !!Fri Jun 23, 2006 06:14 AM i am also working on my financial aspect which looks good so far. one thing which i have realised so far is that it is a very expensive game. the tuition fees itself is 10 lakhs. then you should keep into consideration atleast 600 pounds per month@12 months. and there are another 1000 pound miscellaneous expenses once you get there. this reaches around 7200 pouds other than your tuition fees. if you are thinking that you can actually cut down your living expenses by part time job, then i must tell you that its very tough. (even though i am thinking on these lines). but don't worry.... this much money and one year at ucl.... ITS WORTH IT !! so buddy just prepare yourself for this expensive race for your future and go for it. regards |

hi...Mon Jul 03, 2006 08:22 PM its something very personal ... the decision should be entirely yours and you should not be asking anyone else. but then when u're thinking 'bout IPR then why this second thought?? do whatever your heart says you to. |
