<description>It is hard but not impossible for a foreign student to get a good job in New York.  A friend of mine is doing his LLM at Columbia and has already been offered a job at one of the top five law firms in New York.  He is Thai, but he got his first law degree from Australia and had been working at Minter Ellison for a few years.  He got a very good grades in the Fall semester at Columbia, too.</description>
