wicked: LLM conversion - to JD

Which few universities provide this option? Is it normally 2 years, i.e. after having completed the LLM is it another 2 years to complete a JD if the university offers a conversion option? I heard some universities provide a one year conversion JD??? Generally are these uiversities tier 1 or 2?

This is a very good question. The only school that I know would allow this conversion is Brigham Young University. I only know this because a previous poster was able to get an LL.M and then a JD from this school in 3 years.

I think University of Kansas does not offer a general LLM, but only a specialized LLM in "Elder Law" (whatever that may be...).

Columbia will as well, but it is pretty rare. Essentially you need a faculty member's assistance.
