Hi ,
I have a big query . I have been thinking to apply to george mason for spring 2007 session as its quite good for LL.M. in law and economics. But the only problem being that university has asked for lsat score or gre or gmat score. I have not taken up any of these exams. University website points out that it will be only exceptional cases where they will consider it otherwise. I have secured 58% in my three yr. LL.B. course . What are my chances to get through such situation. How serious are universities when they ask for such scores?

They are quite adamant about these qualifications.

Look at it like this - there are hundreds of other applications who may have lower marks than yours, but who offer the GMAT or GRE. Which do you think the admissions tutors are going to choose?

I suggest you try your hardest to sit one of these tests before applying.

dont go for lsat ,
its damn tuff ,,,, n it takes more than a year to prepare tat.... moreover in india no testing centre is available ,,, you have to go nearest to thiland or singapore for LSAT

The LSAT is not a requirement for LLM degrees - only for JDs.

Hi,
I am keen on applying to George Mason university for LL.M. in law and economics. This university has mentioned lsat score or any of its equivalent as a necessary requisite to apply for the above. Further, university will exempt the candidate from above requisites only in an exceptional case where the person has strong recommendation and other qualifications. How do u interpret this clause?
