Some poeple advise me to attend to the NY job fair this coming January since I have no experience at all from my home country. I want to know from someone participate last year could be my chances to get a job in my home country with US law firm or my chances to get a job in US after this job fair. I don't know of anyone from my law school (university of texas) that received an offer - there must have been about 11 of us that went...maybe one person may have received an offer, but i can't say for sure. having said that, one friend had interviews at each time slot for both days and she also did not get an offer. I'd say it's pretty difficult. but it certainly can open doors - it just takes a little luck to be the darling a firm is looking for! good luck!
