I also received an email from them. I doubt we will be hearing anything more from them until about February, but that is just speculation on my part. Sat Jan 06, 2007 10:30 PM I dont know if you are aware but you can also track the progress of your application online. |

Not sure. according to their direction online, they will give u an answer 8 to 12 weeks (2 or even 3month???) after they confirm the completeness of the applcation materials and the decision will be mailed to you. It seems it will take a long time.Sun Feb 18, 2007 03:38 AM |

They will send you a letter through the mail, not via e-mail.

The question you ask really depends on a lot of issues and the list of questions below is not an exhaustive one:Tue Feb 27, 2007 01:52 PM 1) Are you mainly concerned about rankings and reputation? 2) Would you rather live in a city or in a secluded town but with a very beautiful campus? 3) Are living costs an issue or are you indifferent? |

Based on that response; you would probably flourish at Upenn. It ranks higher than Cornell, furthermore it is based in Philly which is a city; I would imagine however that it is more expensive to live there than in Ithaca but dont quote me on that.

LSE has got an outstanding reputation. I would definitely recommend it. But it really depends what you want to study and how this institution furthers your career.

I havent received a reply from Cornell yet. Maybe it's because I applied pretty late (end Jan).

I applied in mid October and heard nothing about them. I sent them an e-mail regarding that I still have 2 deadlines from other universities and they recommended me patience:)Tue Mar 20, 2007 06:08 AM |

I'm gonna give up my slot at Cornell today, so at least one other spot should open soon. Good luck!

It just seems this whole process drags on for so long, you have some schools asking you to put deposits down in February, and then other shools taking 6 months to review your file. I am just getting tired of it!!!!!

Tue Mar 20, 2007 05:12 PM I also turned down their offer, so one more free slot....tini83, where did you finally decide to go? I am still waiting for some scholarship news... I guess it all boils down to Virginia, Chicago or NYU - although I'm still waiting for YSL and CLS (but hey, waht are the chances). What about you? Heading to Chicago? |

Cornell is taking far too long to come to a decision.. have decided to accept NYU whatever the outcome is... I prefer to be in the city anyway... any international applicants currently living in NYC????
