has anybody received any rejection email from Columbia?

Just to update my friend has already got CLS rejection last week. She submit the application thru regular cycle.

Im still waiting too...I have this bad feeling about it, because they ask for this one year of professionnal experience, like a real professional experience, no internships or anything...as I dont have that...Im afraid Ill be rejected...Fri Feb 02, 2007 10:52 AM Do you all fulfil this requirement of a one year professionnal experience? I'm still waiting, too. Lucinda: although Columbia web pages seem to depict one-year experience as an almost indespensable requisite, in my opinion they are much more flexible when making their admission decisions. Dam is absolutely correct. I really don't know why they even bother listing it as an essential requirement. I was admitted last year and I did not have any professional experience to speak of apart from some internships. If you are what they want they will take you. Nothing is set in stone regarding requirements apart from the fact that you must have a law degree. Hope everything goes well for you.

Lucinda: you can bet I know what you mean. I'm still waiting for 10 answers from American law schools, and I think that at least 2 or 3 will arrive by the end of this month. I shiver every time I open my e-mail account.

Actually no: I applied to Georgetown and Duke (both accepted) and all the U.S. News top10 (still waiting), although one of my recommenders is a UCLA LL.M. graduate and she told me it's a wonderful school.
