Hi everyone,
Yesterday I participated in a meeting organized by the Hauser Global Law Program whose purpose was to gather the opinions of some international LLMs about the orientation week, LLM program, etc. I asked them if it was true that they would make their decisions public on 1 April (my point was that it would generate time constraints with regard to the visa application process) and the answer was that the decisions will probably be made public before that date. Therefore, check regularly your e-mail account - you may have a surprise...

Congratulations. Was it a letter or an e-mail?

I hope you are not cracking jokes to make us panick!
Surely, it should be a big surprise that april 1 has been brought forward to march 1.

Any other person with similar news?

Hi Isabelle,

I applied in mid-November (about the 20th) for the LL.M. International Legal Studies. Currently I'm in my last year of law at the Free University of Brussels.

Greets,

Hey, I got mine this morning too. Was sent 21 February by UPS. I applied in late November. No scholarship, though, except for the possibility of applying for the 10 grand award. Hm...

CONGRATULATIONS.

ONE QUESTION TO ALL ADMITTED -- DID YOU APPLY TO SINGAPORE AS WELL OR JUST TO NC.

THANKS A LOT.

Congrats to all admitted!

I'm wondering, to login to the admitted students area, is your ID number the same as the one you received when you sent in your application?

(I'm holding out hope that I'm admitted, but haven't received a letter yet)

First of all, congrats to all those who got in!

According to their homepage, you can log in as follows:

User Name
If you are a Graduate (LL.M. or J.S.D.) applicant with no Social Security Number, your user name is the NYU School of Law-assigned Admissions Identification Number you received with your letter of admission (typed with no hyphens or dashes: 888XXXXXX).

Password
Your default password is your birth date (typed: mm/dd/yyyy). After your first login, you will gain the ability to change your password.
Congrats to all admitted!

I'm wondering, to login to the admitted students area, is your ID number the same as the one you received when you sent in your application?

Now all you need to know is whether the admissions number matches that of your application, and anyone should be able to take a shot. Haven't tried it (still waiting for a letter myself) - good luck and let us know!

(I'm holding out hope that I'm admitted, but haven't received a letter yet)

What kind of deadlines have they set for (1) accepting their admissions offer and (2) any scholarships they have given out?

Yes, but I'm wondering if this number is the same as the one that you received when you applied. It's a number similarly beginning with 888xxxxxxx. If you applied you can still view your application on the site. I'm wondering if someone who received an acceptance letter today can verify if this is the same number. That way those of us who are still in the dark can beat the post by logging in with our own numbers and our birth dates if we have applied. I'm actually hoping it's a different number, because mine won't work!

Dear all,

It looks like NYU has started to send admission letters. After I read the posts this morning, I went (actually ran) to the reception in my house.

Got admission letter to NYU via UPS today. No e-mail prior to this. I am from Russia.

Regards,

New Y:o)rker

Congrats! Any scholarships?

Mine doesn't work either. Since so far no one's seems to have worked, let's hope it's a good sign. Hey, a long as we're not rejected, there's still hope, right? :-)

My guess is that its a different number as well. Or they havent decided on our file yet... trying to be optimistic, but the uncertainty sucks!!
