Cornell vs. UVA
Of the law schools that have accepted me so far, the University of Virginia and Cornell clearly top my list. Both have similar features which are very important to me: small and selective program, very good reputation, non-urban town, distinguished law journals...Thu Feb 01, 2007 07:49 AM I know that Cornell is Ivy League, which is a plus, but it is also far more expensive than UVA, while UVA also offered me a very generous scholarship. If there are any current students of either law school here, I'd appreciate your thoughts and would love to hear from you reagrding your experiences. Cornell vs. UVA
To my knowledge there is no huge difference between UVA and Cornell vis-a-vis international law. I also think that Cornell being an Ivy-League school does not make much of a difference, it's basically an undergrad issue. Considering that UVA has made you a good financial offer, I suggest you accept it. Additionally, you might want to take a look at both faculties: are there interesting scholars you would like to study with at either school.

I've got admission from both of them, too. Tue May 01, 2007 07:16 PM I decided to go to Virginia because UVA is always ranked within top10 in the US. |
