thank you guys for your replies...

I send them an email yesterday...they replied today saying my application is still in the admissions committee. I too hope this is a good sign, however i have a deadline from the University of Miami to accept or decline their admission to their program THIS FRIDAY! I dont know what to do. Should I wait for Fordham or go with Miami?

Egalo, I asked for an extension to give my deposit bc I was travelling and they gave me 2 more weeks. It wasn`t University of Miami, but maybe you could try that.

Juanmontoya, maybe you could write them an email. When did you apply?

Good luck!

Thank you for your advice MARIAN2. Actually, I wrote them yesterday explaining my situation and they also suggested to request an extension from the University of Miami.

Juanmontoya, they also said the admissions committee is caught up between exams and graduation and they have not finished reviewing all applications. Perhaps you should take MARIAN2's advice and write them an email so they put an eye on your application. Good luck to you too!

hi~~everyone. I've got admitted in this program in Feb. It says I must submmit my deposit within 3 weeks, but I still can not make up my mind yet. I want to apply for a JD program utimately. Does any one know whether Fordham provide the LLM students the chance to transfer to JD program directly?

Hey guys, they answer me today just to say my decision letter was sent yesterday! I have asked them to inform me whether I'm in or not, given the time its going to take to receive the letter in order to inform UM my confirmation or denial to their admission...so I'll keep you posted.

hi Yan17, I believe you could ask the Graduate Programs Director and check with them of your possibilities to transfer to a JD program. Probably you will have to go through the admission process again...but you could take a shot if that is what you really want. Good Luck!

Hello,
maybe we should all make a group with our emails this way we can be in touch with each other the Fordham class of 08' and help each other out with doubts etc.

This is a good idea. Otherwise we will have to order badges with our "internet nicknames" on them )))

Hi, I'm new to this site but I just got notified that I got in as well. I'm sure this question has been asked before but does anyone know of good sites to look up for private loans to help pay? Thanks!!

Congrats and welcome!
There are lots of webs. For instance, www.accessgroup.com, www.fastweb.com, www.iefa.org, www.iefc.com.
Are you American? Because if not, you will need a US citizen or permanent resident as a co-signer.

I'm not American, but I think I can get a resident as a co-signer. Thanks for this information.

Hi everybody,
I have been admitted as well at fordham in banking. Do you know about job opportunities at the end of the program? (salary)

This question has been asked already but I am not sure that it has been answered: how are you affording the LLM? Is there anyone still in trouble like me? I am already in NY. Is anyone there as well? We could meet.

Congratulations to the new admitted students.

I don't know about the exact salary but I was told that the job perspectives after pursuing an LLM are really good... My guess is that eventually it depends on where you intend to end up. There are many differences between countries and law frims.

Looking forward to meeting you all!
Take care,
Isabelle

Two questions: I am also a little in trouble with paying the tuition. Does anybody has a good idea for loans? And I am quite late for housing! Where do you live all? And how did you find it? Thanx for help.
