Also when is the start dates for LLM programs in South Africa cos i was thinking of starting in January next year.  Thank You</description>

<description>Having studied at Wits, I can assure you that it is one of the best Law Schools in the country and maybe even the continent. You have some superb lecturers,  most of whom have foreign post grad degrees from some of the best institutions worldwide (Harvard, Yale, Cambridge etc).

UCT is maybe right up there with Wits, but it&#39;s always a hotly debated point. But those two are definitely the best. Pretoria I would put further down the list.

Academic calendar starts in February, you must have registered by late January, apllications are normally accepted from about September onwards. You write exams twice a year, in June and in November.

If I were you, I&#39;d probably choose UCT because it&#39;s in CT and that&#39;s an amazing city, whereas Wits is in JHB,  which is a great city to live in, but I always think that CT is far more touristy, which I would imagine is more what you want when you&#39;re an international student.</description>
