I havent heard anything yet either but I think no news mean bad news in this case, since the admitted students were notified about two weeks ago. Would be interesting to know, if anyone has received a rejection letter yet or tried to call them...

I am curious to know if anyone has made a sucessful call to find out the outcome of their application as well.Thu Mar 29, 2007 12:01 AM Also, did any Australians on here receive a call re admissions, and if so, what's your background to give us an idea of the standard? Yale was my dream school...but oh well... |

Did they really make all of their calls two weeks ago?Thu Mar 29, 2007 07:39 AM It seems highly plausible (and if someone could confirm this circumstance I'd be grateful). But last year there were at least six people boasting a call from Yale: This year we got (if I'm not missing someone) just two. Furthermore no one started threads on comparisons between HLS-SLS-YLS or about getting to know future Yale classmates, which were also common last year. Again, SLS admitted - who make up a comparable cohort - speak up and manifest themselves in an incomparably more open fashion. Maybe this year's Yalies are just shy; however, is really Yale phone calling round over? |

I agree. I just called YLS. They told me that "all admitted applicants have been called. All other applicants will receive a letter in the mail".Fri Mar 30, 2007 01:02 PM It's over, but it's no big deal. |

No news from Yale here. Tue Apr 03, 2007 03:30 AM Not even a rejection letter. Is that possible? Is anyone in this situation? |

Yeah, I think this is over too. Got an email from them this morning, saying that "No decisions are sent by email. All decisions have been sent by mail last Tue Apr 03, 2007 08:45 AM week. You should receive your letter within a week or so." Won't get any hopes up for now. Going to Columbia. |
