Ladies and Gentlemen,

Please share us your thoughts or experience regarding the international (ESPECIALLY: EUROPE: UK, Germany, France, Brussels; and ASIA: Singapore, Hong Kong) reputation of the above schools compared to each other or individually!

Maybe you could take a look at the websites of US + UK law firms located in the mentioned countries and search for graduates from both schools, Maybe it could give you an idea of how the market sees UMich and Duke grads.

In Spain, both are well-known.

In academia Michigan is more famous in Europe.

I completely agree with Toni: was admitted by both Duke and Michigan and if I had to choose between the two I wouldn't have any doubts in terms of Michigan being perceived (and I repeat: Perceived) as more prestigious in my country.

Thatīs a bad joke, but I doubt that the Wolverines are better known overseas than Dukeīs lacrosse team... sorry, I couldnīt resist...

I think in academia Michigan is more well-known. I guess it depends on your area. James Hathaway at Michigan, for example, is THE name in refugee law.
Duke, on the other hand, is known as "The Harvard of the South". Whatever that means.
It will be warmer at Duke. Michigan will be freeeeeezing.
I don't think you can go wrong really but I would tend to go with Michigan.
