In Spain, both are well-known.</description>

<description>I completely agree with Toni: was admitted by both Duke and Michigan and if I had to choose between the two I wouldn&#39;t have any doubts in terms of Michigan being perceived (and I repeat: Perceived) as more prestigious in my country.</description>

<description>I think in academia Michigan is more well-known. I guess it depends on your area. James Hathaway at Michigan, for example, is THE name in refugee law.
Duke, on the other hand, is known as &quot;The Harvard of the South&quot;. Whatever that means.
It will be warmer at Duke. Michigan will be freeeeeezing.
I don&#39;t think you can go wrong really but I would tend to go with Michigan.</description>
