Summer Programs - Legal English
I wonder if you could give me some advice about the best summer programs to improve my english. These are the options I have: "Introduction to Legal English" in the International Law Institute in Washington, DC; "American English for Students of Law" in Yale; "Legal English for LLM Students" in Boston University and an Intensive Eight-Week Program in Harvard, this last program is NOT about legal english. Do you think that I should go to Harvard although the other courses are specially for lawyers and this one is not?Sun Apr 08, 2007 04:38 AM What are your thoughts? Have any of you taken some of these courses? [Edited 08 Apr 2007 by marthabuca] |

Summer Programs - Legal English
Let me add my two cents, I took a general English course at Harvard some years ago, and I was very happy with the classes and the level. The class was small (about 8 students) and the teacher was happy to customize the class to our interest (i think almost all of us were grad students). Sun Apr 08, 2007 08:45 PM I haven't taken an English legal class, so I can't compare |
