Hi, I am from Israel and enrolled in the ILS program.

Has anyone decided about housing yet? I am debating between mercer and D'Agostino and wanted to know what you think.

Thanks!

Well, here are some tips... I've been told that Mercer is much more fun, the environment is better, apparently there are more parties and stuff like that, there is a game room and apartments are much bigger, I've been recommended to go there, BUT I also heard that there has been some problems with rats ¿? I don't know if that is true but that freaked me out so... I chose D'Agostino and it is closer than Mercer apparently.

Rats ?? really ?? I chose apartments both in Mercer and D'Agostino, but i put D'Agostino to my first priority simply because it's nearer...

Well I only put D' Agostino in the 4 choices but I would have no problem in going to Mercer if there are not rats hehe, apparently it is nicer there, I don't know... maybe an actual student could help us here.

Hey, you all, I'm part of the International Legal Studies now =)

Hi, everyone!
I'm from Brazil and I've been admitted to the International Legal Studies Program. I can't wait to start it!
I'm also in doubt between Mercer and D'Agostino... I guess I'll just pick rooms from both of them.

Hope to see you soon!

Has anyone received the registration instructions via email yet? Also, is the Albert registration for law students still unavailable?

Nope, I think we get those instructions in May (Admitted Students site tells you that if you've not received them by late May, you have to chase it up). The registration lottery for law students on Albert will only become accessible around May 15th (going by last year's date). The courses are still in the process of being updated so I expect this will all be ready to go in early May.

Hello all, I am from Israel and will start in the NYU ILS program this fall, anybody considering sharing an off campus apartment ? it's probably harder to get, but it's also probably a bit cheaper and the rooms are bigger, and you have a living area..... the only drawback is that you can find affordable places in Brooklyn or the Lower East Side, but still only a ten-fifteen minute subway ride from NYU....
