I don't know much about this program.

But as for job in the US after this LLM, I would guess it's extremely difficult. Since I know many friends at T14 law schools struggling to land a job offer.

But again, it depends on where you are from, your experience, your personal connection and many other factors. I will sugget you to contact their career office or alumni in order to get insight mateirals.

University of Baltimore's law school is a tier 4 school. I went to high school in Maryland and I haven't even heard of it. I also went to a tier 4 school in North Dakota for a semester, and some of my friends there have struggled to get jobs even with a JD. I don't think it would be very easy to get a job from there with an LLM. It isn't even that cheap of a school. I would rather try to get in elsewhere. My school - ranked 36 - has the same tuition, and living down here is way cheaper than Baltimore. Hope this is good advice :)

UB is moving up in the rankings, and I can't imagine a better place to be. The professors are really interested in helping students reach their fullest potential (no ivory towers - everyone helps each other achieve). And UB grads - even LLMs - have been hired by the top firms.

I think you should check the rankings and stats. I went to UB Law School and graduated with a JD/MBA and have not had a problem landing a job. I have lived in the DC area as well as NYC and have worked for major corporations throughout my professional career. I have not had a problem with landing a job and would put my education and talents up against anyone from other schools. Now, I don't think it really matters where you go to school (except for your first job out of school and even then it is small), it is who and what you know. For the value, UB is a wonderful school. The professors and support staff really are great. All I can say is don't pass up a great school.

if - for any reason - you want to study law in baltimore, perhaps you will consider U of Maryland Law School, which is a T1 school (correct me if wrong), and it'is also ranked among the top schools in both environmental and expecially health care law, due to its links with JHU...

I do not know much about the program too.
But I guess that if you live in MD, probably you may qualify to get the in-state tuition rates, which is nice if your budget is tight.
