As for the program, I'm sure you have already looked at the faculty, their research interests in this area and their publications. From what I know UCalgary law facutly does not admit a lot of students into their programs each year (both the LLB and LLM) - they take a smaller number of 'top students'. As for the city, it has a booming economy and is as close as you can get to the Rocky Mountains without being in them! Good luck!
